Files from July
A brownie recipe, beauty oil all-rounder, my most worn things this month & bits for the home.
The best jeans I’ve ever owned - Vintage tee, Denim & Blue Sandals.
Face Oil - My skin really appreciates an oil, whether it’s after a shower in winter or a summer full-body hydration on holiday while in and out of the salt water. I’ve been going to bed lathered from head to toe like a literal olive from a jar with this face oil and waking up with hydrated, plump-feeling skin. I also use it on the ends of my hair, it really was my all-rounder
Chan Luu toe ring - Convinced nothing screams Vacay like a bedazzled toe. Before you ask - it is actually very comfortable to wear - I forgot I had it on, would you believe?
Donni track pants - I bought these in the blue and am now contemplating the black. So soft and a great cut.
Floating Sauna - teleport me here. Peter & Victoire Boldt, Boat Sauna, Connecticut. Images by Bold Studio.
Lactation Brownie recipe - We have been making this brownie since I first had Paloma. My trainer originally sent it to me after bringing us a batch he whipped up himself. I have now made it countless times for breastfeeding friends (and not breastfeeding friends), the recipe has been requested endlessly.
Recipe below!
Ingredients
1.5 cup oats
1/2 cup cacao powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup tahini
3 eggs
100g butter melted (grass fed)
1 tsp vanilla
150g dark choc roughly chopped/choc chips
1/4 cup hemp seeds
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced. Line a brownie tin with baking paper.
In a food processor, blitz 1 cup oats until they resemble the texture of flour.
In a large bowl combine oat flour, cacao, baking powder, salt and remaining oats.
In a separate bowl combine maple, tahini, eggs, butter and vanilla.
Combine wet ingredients with the dry ingredients then stir through chocolate.
Pour mixture into lined brownie tin and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool then cut into squares.
Vintage 2000s Pradas - I was looking for these beauties for a little while and finally found them in my size.
The perfect white singlet - cotton rib with just enough stretch to keep its shape after a few rounds in the washing machine and thick enough coverage for the nips to wear without a bra. This was my most clicked Instagram link of the month, apparently everyone is in need of a good tank, too!
Knife set - I bought this set a few months back. Still just as in love as the moment they arrived.
District Vision X NB - I am not a runner (yet ha!), but I figure why not dress the part while I attempt a newfound activity. These are SO comfortable, enough to get me around the block when I am really not feeling it!
This Kilzi light - I am currently designing a project with this light in the living room. I can’t stop thinking about it. Not to mention the super sweet mirrors on the wall.
In Bed cover - Throwing this textured Cotton bed cover over the top makes my bed feel very put together with absolutely no effort.
Juem Set - Vera Track pant & Joan Tank
Sunflower - Ice Queen Variety - those that know me well know I love a sunflower, this new variety in the garden brings me joy - look at that colour!
The Affair podcast - This was a rec from Shameless podcast & now I can stop listening, Ive almost listened to every episode!
Hope you enjoyed this round up & bring something from it into your month ahead xx

What size are you wearing in the juem pants? Tossing up the 8 and 10!
