My change of season wardrobe.

A love for contradictory dressing.

Where I live on the Northern Rivers (NSW, Australia), our Summers are hot and wet; we experience thick tropical heat most of the year, and our shoulder seasons don't feel quite long enough. This 100% humidity is terrible news for those after frizz-free hair or opposed to being ever so slightly moist at all times. It makes Autumn & Spring even more special, feeling either the collective relief of cooler evenings or a lovely buzz for longer, warmer days.

I’ve always felt most comfortable dressing at this time, with no beaded upper lip in sight. Silk is finally an option without sweating through it in seconds, and I can get away with wearing sandals & a coat or a sheer skirt with an OS knit to dinner.

I love this idea of contradictory dressing, clashing my summer pieces with winter staples and calling it Autumn.

My list below includes wish list finds and classics I've added to my wardrobe. I'll layer these pieces with snuggly socks and hot ginger tea as it cools down while still wearing them through Sicily in a few months’ time, Vongole and chilled red in hand.

I bought this Realisation Par dress in the white halter, I also love this Olive style.

Leather jackets from Nour Hammour, so many incredible pieces. 1st, 2nd , 3rd (I have this third bomber and the leather is so soft & buttery).

So tempted by this beauty. I've previously owned Babaa knits, and the quality is unmatched.
