Thats a wrap for March.
This month, my rambles & recommendations are mostly home/wellness-related, which reflects my March quite appropriately with a focus on rest & proverbial seed sewing.
As a whole, I spent the last month prioritising rest, which felt wildly uncomfortable to begin with but ultimately paid off in finally kicking this chest infection I’d managed to hold onto for a good three weeks. It has been a little cooler with the season change, making it easier to become one with the sofa and soak up every last second of Housewives while drinking scolding hot chicken soup, all in the name of ‘down time’.
Ultimately, it’s been nice not to rush anywhere and instead spend my time getting better, building energy & sewing seeds for future projects.
Said seeds I am currently sewing -
I am working on a new Website for Cooke and Kin, which I look forward to launching. I am actually terrible at tech, so being self-taught on Shopify is quite an achievement for me, ha! Patience is also not my forte, so if it were up to me, I'd make it live immediately, but alas, I must wait. I have exciting changes being made in CK that I’ll let you in on this month. I can't wait to share this next chapter with you; I am making changes focused on what is at the core of CK, where my passion lay & why I started this brand initially. Our new swim is also wonderful (obviously biased), and this next drop includes one of my favourite prints to date.
Speaking of exciting chapters, A new project I've been working on since last year is coming together. It's a beautiful merging of my love for fabrics and materials while aligning perfectly with my deep appreciation of a warm, considered home and spending time with loved ones. I’ll take you behind the scenes of all this in the coming months. I am looking to shoot in June while in Menorca, so I will have all the good mood board and design bits to share beforehand.
I'm no good at keeping my own secrets, so please enjoy the massive hint from my birthday below! Exciting!
A few new additions to the home.
Sheets!
The excitement levels of such a simple purchase leave me feeling very ‘30’.

Sutram fitted sheet in Ochre. Fitting (sorry I had to) in nicely with Tekla stripes and soft blue.
Ceramic Water Filter.

I love the colour selection from local brand Kyn & Folk. I went with the dune, a lovely taupey camel that sits beautifully with the stone in the laundry/pantry area (pics to come).
Wardrobe wears.
With snuggle season almost upon us, I proactively ordered Pjs as I can never find them in the dead of Winter. I found these online at one of my favourite stores, Muji. I was first introduced to Muji while in the UK, where I stocked up on plain tees and one of the comfiest bras I've ever worn. I didn't realise they had an online store available in Australia, so it's great news all around.

Wellness notes for the month.
Mouth Tape - is essential. I started wearing this towards the end of last year. After knowing I've been a mouth breather my whole life, I've finally done something about repeated sore throats in the morning. It has worked wonders! Fellow mouth breathers, don’t sleep on this! There are many brands out there, but I love SomniFix as it doesn’t irritate the skin around my mouth.
Land Hydration - In full transparency, this was gifted to me, but after trying, I am hooked. I have always loved an electrolyte replacement as I live in such a humid climate, so I am constantly sweating; I sauna often and work out daily, so I need to replenish minerals and salts. This is the first I have tried that doesn’t have a false flavour or sickly sweet; it is all natural and made from Organic coconut water power, Salt and minerals. Marine Coconut Natural Electrolyte.

Natural toothpaste—LoveByt is a new brand on my radar. I've already finished this tube and re-ordered. I appreciate the perfect amount of Mint flavour, and we love a product that is as functional as it is well-branded. 10/10 from me.
Body Oil - How did I ever forget about this? I've been reminded of just how delicious Costa Brazil body oil is. It’s so warm and nourishing. I’ve been soaking in it for the last few days.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this xx
